Preparation for publication and curation of the digitized objects or materials

Next step in the process of Digitization is preparation and curation of digitized objects or materials. This can be divided in 4 steps:

  • Making a working copy
  • Clean or repair working files
  • Convert them into smaller files (dimensions, formats …)
  • Create additional files (OCR, transcript, subtitle …)
